Summary

Folder notes are cool for a couple of reasons. They allow us to navigate to folders from our home note (or anywhere we choose to declare them) as well as allowing us to capture high level or important documents from a folder.

We use a community plugin called…. "Folder notes" ;) to introduce folder notes into our Obsidian vault.
